Mother Meera in London

Hello 🙂
Did you manage to make a date
with Mother Meera this week?
If not you may be interested in
hearing my thoughts about it.
What struck me most was just
how transformative it can be
to sit in complete silence
for 3 hours. The sense of
peace from it is still with me
several days later.
As my friend Neil once said
about a silent retreat with
Adyashanti, “You realise
that talking is kind of overrated”.
There was something about
being there with Mother
Meera this time, which made
being silence easy and
straightforward.
Imagine your best ever
meditation, but for 3 hours
accompanied by God staring

into your soul, and you’re

getting there 🙂

The form is to queue up on

your knees, moving toward
her (seated on chair) and
then bow down before her
and lightly lay your hands
on her feet. She then holds
your head lightly in her hands
and when she releases it,
you look up and she stares
into your eyes for a while.
While this was happening,
I clearly experienced and
heard (psychically) the words :-
“I am your own Self”.
It was so wonderful
and so ordinary at the
same time – as if “Oh yes,
of course” “Ah-ha”.
And I felt a huge sense
of gratitude.
I then watched her with other
people for some time before
returning to meditation
(although there was very little,
if any, difference between
meditation and living life
at this point).
I noticed
that with some people
she spent longer and with
others it was very quick.
With some she seemed to
be ‘hit’ by their conditioning and
then swallow it up, and with others
there was very little ‘coming

                                                                                                                                              out’ of them.

When the person
turned around, this made sense
as you could see etched on
their faces the degree to which
they had or hadn’t let go,
and what their life experiences
may have been like.
That’s all the news this week.
Enjoy yourself and see
you again soon,
Much Love,

Prayer-Power!

Hello 🙂

Are you enjoying the sunshine?
It’s gorgeous here in London 🙂

This week several of you
have mentioned times to me
when you have offered
a true prayer to the Universe.

So I want to talk about
my own experiences with
prayer, and when it does
and doesn’t work.

When I have made
a true prayer it has always
come true. I could count
those one one hand.

This is because, like
most people, I have only
TRULY meant it that many
times. The rest were basically just
begging, hoping or demanding.

And you cannot negotiate

with Oneness.

I could describe the truest prayer

as asking for what I want

without attachment to
the outcome, or how that
outcome manifests.

Every person knows, or
comes to know, the difference.
It’s not about details, it’s
about intention – it’s an honesty
and humility (not a
technique) thing.

When you have made your
prayer, don’t forget to listen
carefully to your life over the
proceeding days/weeks/months
to hear the result.

One way to get into the
atmosphere of prayer is by
chanting. For those of you
familiar with Amma, or
who would like to find out
about her, here is a YouTube
video of the 108 Divine Names.

You can listen, or chant
along with the video – the
words and translations are there.
Don’t hesitate to contact me with
any questions about this:-

Have a lovely weekend,
Love,

The Sunlight or the Cave? You choose.

Hello 🙂

Inspired by a long-loved song
(hence the title) and by
seeing what it takes to
shine at the Olympics,
I want to talk today about
what it means to be oneself
in the world.
For me and for so many
of you who have come
for healing this week,
there is conditioning within
which seems to interfere
with this self-expression
and the joy of being
right in the middle of life.
Issues such as guilt, fear,
disempowerment and victim
consciousness, can create
an unfulfilling and limited life.
But they don’t have to.

What I have seen is that

playing the victim, feeling

disempowered or guilty
and clinging to fear are
all a choice. With that
awareness as a foundation,
I have seen these
issues being transformed
through healing.
Adyashanti sums this up in another way:-
“As soon as you start giving yourself to
the world, it gives itself to you.” ~ Adyashanti
On that note…
Two events are coming up
which you are warmly invited to 🙂
One is ‘Return to Innocence’,
a co-creation gathering in
Sussex where I will be
giving a group healing.
This event is run wholly
on a donation basis.
I am planning on being there
from the 14th to the 17th Aug.
Please email me for full details.
Here is an idea of what

The Only True Power

Hello 🙂
You may have heard that
your true power is within you.
Also that you are One, Self,
awareness etc. etc., but what
does this actually mean?
For centuries, paths towards
spiritual enlightenment
have said you don’t need
to go outside yourself
to know the truth,
yet this can feel abstract.
Even techniques can be
limited, and sometimes
also limiting, in that they
imply you need to
do something in order
to find the truth you seek.
And traditional ideas of
empowerment too often
feel like they are based in ego –
attempting to make the
‘little me’ feel bigger.
In writing about this,
I am aware that
I cannot give you any
answers (or give you
truth) – how could I? 🙂
I can only speak from
experience: the more I unfold
into Oneness, the more I
realise the significance
of spending time in silence,
and vice-versa.
When I shut my eyes and
feel inside for stillness,
without trying to get something
or get rid of anything,
true silence pours like
liquid from itself
quite naturally.
These moments of deep contact
with what is still and real
and complete within, reveal
the only true power there
has ever been. Not power
against, not power for
and not power that is possessed.
This mysterious power
is silent and still.
Don’t undervalue the
power of open-hearted
quietness! You don’t
have to be endlessly task-doing
to be valuable to this world.
********
On a practical note, when coming
for sessions, please press and
hold the bell a few times –
even when it lights up, it
sometimes hasn’t rung yet.
Have a lovely weekend,
Love,
xDaisy
