Magic instead of Power

Ric Weinman has discovered that an Assemblage Point or the whole Assemblage Point System can get damaged by various traumas. I can channel Magical Jewel to repair these if so, therefore please ask during your next session. It really makes a difference and only takes a few minutes 🙂 

As I have mentioned before, my journey this time on Europe Tour with Amma is really too personal to share. But there is one story I would like to relay. As I was entering the hall in Switzerland one day, I bumped into a little girl and her father, both of whom are friends of mine. This particular child is deeply gifted. She was being ‘difficult’, so I offered to give her a shoulder ride so she didn’t have to walk. She agreed and promptly climbed up onto my shoulders as if I were a climbing frame – lol! As she sat there, our spines connected, from her tailbone to my neck. My mind instantly went completely Silent………..and I could feel the presence of Divine Mother. At first, I assumed it was Amma, yet I could feel that it wasn’t – this presence was emanating from the girl herself and rippling down into my entire being. The most striking sensation was that of being totally held, on every level. This girl is 6 years old – imagine! I also felt a profound sense of safety, which is unusual for me. Then my breathing naturally deepened and widened on its own and I relaxed. It felt as if I was going from Maya into Divinity. I didn’t know if I would be able to walk in such an ‘altered state’, yet somehow my feet followed through. This is the beauty and excitement of Touring with Amma. You never know what will happen next or where the Grace will come from – and in which form. 

Something which dawned on me while listening to a friend is that it is possible that Amma chants quite different mantras into each person’s ear – not mainly two mantras. So please throw out any previous info from me about this and listen carefully while receiving your next darshan. 

Ric has commented on a couple of things in recent classes which I wanted to share with you. The first is that, Magic is a good term to replace Power. Isn’t that beautiful..? How true. I love that… The other one is that we could think of the kidneys as being the force which holds things together in the body. This is why kidneys are so important for health and why we focus on them in Vortex Healing a lot (as is also the case in Chinese medicine).

The Real Centre of Life

During Europe Tour, Amma kept saying in Her speeches that without the passport of compassion, we cannot gain the visa of liberation. This is so true… It also somehow reminded me of something Adyashanti once said, that Truth is not Truth without Love. He went on to explain that if we tell a truth to somebody without the heart of love in it, then it becomes not the truth at all. My belief is that for either of these, we need to be in touch with the Divine Feminine, which resides inside all beings. The effulgent inner waters of patience, love, compassion and empathy bring the most delicate wisdom to our interactions, situations and dilemmas.

I believe it was Brahmacharini Amrita Chaitanya who recounted this beautiful story, during a speech she gave on Europe Tour. There was a schoolteacher who came to Amma for darshan and spoke about an incident at her school, where she taught Maths to young refugee children. The children were learning about fractions and the teacher was conveying the difference between 1/2 and 1/4. She asked them, if they were offered chocolate, would they take 1/2 or 1/4 of it? The children replied that they would take 1/4. “Oh no”, thought the teacher, “They haven’t understood the lesson – they don’t know that 1/4 is less than 1/2.” So she asked them why they had chosen 1/4. As she was recounting this part to Amma, her eyes filled with tears. The children said they would take 1/4 so that other children could have some, who might not otherwise be able to have any. These refugee children had nothing, yet they thought of those less fortunate than themselves. If we all had such compassion in our hearts, what more would be needed to make this earth a heaven?

Here’s a little pre-Tour story for you 🙂 I went to a drum’n’bass rave recently, and my friend was late, so I went to the bar to order a drink. As soon as I turned around, I saw someone I knew 🙂 Michael is a guy I have known within almost all my communities for many years. We immediately found ourselves talking about Amma. He revealed that he had actually met Amma on Her first ever trip to London, in the late 1980s, with only about 50 other people there! Wow… He didn’t actually know Amma was doing a Tour of Europe now, but had been keeping some dates aside in his calendar from 20th – 22nd Nov, without knowing why. He was amazed to find out that those are the exact dates Amma will be here and now he is coming! She gathers us from all places into Her lap.

I can honestly say that being with Amma in Switzerland was the most incredible Europe Tour stop so far in my life, aside from when I actually met Amma for the first time. Here are two stories which may be able to convey a little of that magic :-  

I got to Winterthur the night before the start of Tour and settled into my hotel briefly, before receiving messages and calls from friends telling me to come to the program hall. I was thinking about going anyway to offer seva for set-up, but didn’t realise Amma was in fact attending! When I arrived at the entrance to the hall, the carpet had been laid out for Amma. Hardly any of us were there – probably 30 people. We began chanting “Om Amriteswaryai Namaha” in unison. Suddenly, Amma’s car appeared and Amma got out. When I beheld Amma’s face for the first time, I literally raised my hands to my own face in shock : it was like getting a Love-shock. It felt as if I had never seen Amma before. I began to go into ecstasy… As we sat for meditation inside the dining hall, Amma was in a playful mood and so young – like a child. She was making jokes and beaming at us all. The whole vibe was utterly magical… At this point, the place began to fill up with volunteer Tour Staff, plus a few more of us who had heard the call. During the MA-OM part of the White Flowers Meditation, everything just fell away… Me and everything else was gone. In place of it, there arose Peace, as if for the first time. For a long time, I had no thoughts – they just stopped – and no anything else either. When this spontaneously happens (which is usually in Amma’s physical presence), I realise that absolutely nothing I take as real is actually real. I can see everything with a true perspective. What arises from that is profound Love for everyone… All the people I was arguing with in my head, I loved all of them, I just loved all of them. All the dramas in my life (in my mind really) vanished. Cessation. And the feeling of being absolutely focused in the present moment, yet without efforting or forcing, was so deeply fulfilling and completing… There was only Now. Genuine, sweet, open, present. I knew, without mental knowing yet from within, that there is nothing outside of this. There is nothing real outside of such purity. I am crying writing about this.

The next story reveals the sheer intensity that we can sometimes go through on Tour, plus the unimaginably perfect timing and Divine intentionality of all of it. On the first day of the program, I was talking with one of you in the main hall as you cried about your situation of single motherhood. It was heartbreaking. And yet you were so strong that it was palpable. Next, another of you approached me and we had a conversation. All-of-a-sudden in the middle of it, someone was hugging me from the other side. Before I knew, I saw it was the number one person I was extremely anxious and vulnerable about, plus had had 0% contact with for many long months. I had no idea he would be there. Despite all of this, we could not stop hugging once we embraced. In that holding, he said to me, “It’s so good to see you, oh my god.” Those words and the rare warmth between us are both things I had entirely lost hope of ever feeling again. I had had to let this person go so completely, not once but again and again and again. The felt sense of this hug was so wonderful…yet ordinary, relieving and everything else all-at-once. His action was brave, kind and gentlemanly. I was also very pleased that the friend I was talking to beforehand was there, because this seemed to facilitate such an unexpected reconnection. My entire body was softly shaking. At that exact moment, another of you called on the phone. I knew it was about something extremely serious, so I answered. I was there for the shock of grief for you, honestly just hoping I was doing a good enough job still shaking. After the call, I got into the darshan line, since earlier I had been handed a token by a friend-of-a-friend (such Grace!!), and decided to take another friend’s picture for photo-darshan (due to the incredibly rough time she is having at the moment). In the queue, I could only try to process everything as best I could! I was guided from somewhere, “Just keep doing your mantra.” As I entered the stage and beheld Amma, the sheer joy of seeing Her face suddenly brought me to my knees in tears. I could only bow down in reverence to such awe-inspiring beauty. When it was my turn, Amma blessed each person in the photo very carefully with sandalwood paste. She then pulled me in for the hug, chanting in my ear very intensely. Suddenly, towards the end of the darshan, Amma changed the words She was chanting. I knew immediately and from a previous experience, that it was a blessing of some kind for the bond between that aforementioned gentleman and I. When She had finished, Amma drew back and in stillness we stared into one another’s eyes, for what seemed like an eternity. Amma was smiling so broadly, beaming in fact. Then She said, looking directly into my eyes, “Ok.” It wasn’t a question, it was a statement. I felt like She was telling me, “You’re totally fine.” She seemed to communicate just through one word and one look, that I can in fact handle the chaotic challenges I think I can’t. Honestly, that reminder changed everything. 

On top of all of this, that particular date, exact place and the fact I was with Amma was incredibly significant. In identical circumstances six years earlier, Amma and I had had a Q&A during darshan which was the most significant I have ever had with Her in my life. The timing and synchronicity were spell-binding…it felt as though everything had come full-circle and healed. How transformed I am from the person I was back then… Following my darshan, I sat on stage with Amma for about 2 hours, again with the inner guidance to keep doing my mantra. I believe Amma was still working on the friend in the photo and on me as well. The stage with Amma always feels to me like the centre of the universe. The whole of life is there.

Awakening from the dream state 

Hello 🙂 

This is a Hindi bhajan, which some of you will recognise from Devi Bhava nights on Tour with Amma. The rough translation of the first line is, ‘The Mother Queen is showering her Grace upon us’, but my absolute favourite part is later on – ‘The Empress of the Universe has arrived, all my wishes are fulfilled.’ 

Please note : I am offering sessions as usual on the weekdays I am at home during the period of Europe Tour. 

I hope to see you somewhere on the Tour and would love to say Hi in person 🙂 Remember that the UK program is not in London. If you want to see Amma more than once, I would recommend getting accommodation nearby (or on site, if there is any left, and you can handle dormitory style sleeping). Also, here is a helpful announcement from the UK ashram : “Mantra Initiation Important Update. This year Amma will be giving Mantra Initiation during all four programs at Sandown Park, Esher. Previously, She only gave mantras during the last night of Her visit. If you would like to receive a mantra this year, we would very much like to ask if you might consider attending one of the first two days of the program. It is not essential and more for everyone’s convenience, as we suspect Saturday night will be rather busy. You are most welcome to attend any or all four of the programs. We hope this information will help with your planning. Om Namah Shivaya.”

I remember years ago, seeing a person wake up at the microphone during a Q&A with Adyashanti and also witnessing Ric Weinman individually removing people’s Core Veils one-by-one, during early Vortex Healing classes designated for that purpose. I honestly never dreamed that one day this would be happening in my sessions (and outside of my sessions to clients who were ‘ripe’, as they say). Now, this has happened so many times it feels normal. That, in and of itself, amazes me… Having written about a few of these cases in past newsletters, I would like to share some of the latest stories with you. All of these people are now lucky enough to be in the Core Veil class currently happening 🙂 In this first person, I was very motivated to move the Veil for a myriad of reasons, not least because of this class coming up and the possibility the person could lose the Veil early and take it. So I mustered all my focus and the tools and prayed to Merlin, and somehow – it worked! Something really cool happened in the aftermath, which was that this person was stroking the sofa she was lying on in disbelief (that the sofa was existing) and went into hysterical laughter, uttering the words, “It’s a joke”. I experienced that moment as incredibly profound…as if her words were spoken right from the heart of Truth. Even though I am aware that this awakening was manifested by a combination of Merlin and Amma, it felt very moving to hear confirmation from Ric and feedback, “Nice work!” The next case actually happened before this, in July, and the funny thing is there is nothing to write about it. It was an awakening beyond that : it simply happened to this person spontaneously – not in session, not in class, with no teacher and no method at all. This is something I really wish to honour. This is only ever likely to take place from an uncontrived burning desire for Truth / Bhakti / freedom / service – or something like that. There is yet more to this case. During the course of the 2 & 1/2 months following the awakening, I was working as usual on this person’s 11 month old son, for a few sessions. During the last one, even when I only connected to him, I went into deep bliss……… When I looked for, and channelled into, his Core Veil – I found nothing there. My theory is that he had been patterning his mother’s awakeness, plus she was just in Foundational class, so there was an extremely conducive environment in which this could have happened. Whatever it was though, the awakening happened naturally (and Ric confirmed this), well in time for the baby’s First Birthday – which is today 🙂

Upon request from the last Group Healing, here is the passage I read out at the beginning from Adyashanti’s book, ‘Sacred Inquiry’, pg. 1 :- 

“Transforming Emotions, Feelings of Unworthiness and Physical Challenges 

There is a thread of presence that runs through all, through sickness and health, through happiness and sorrow, through success and defeat. That thread is what you hold to and weave all through your human self, for it is a pure light of conscious being, ever shining and weaving its way through the forest of all your days.

Transmuting Suffering 

Q : Why does the mind return, time and time again, to negative experiences from the past? It seems there is energy there that is in need of being transmuted by allowing awareness to come in and illuminate the negative impressions left from negative experiences. Yet sometimes I get caught up in just trying to solve a past negative experience and it turns into a battle of “what ifs”. Is the transmutation that can occur with past negative impressions a matter of awareness becoming conscious of the impression?

A : The mind returns again and again to unresolved emotional issues for two basic reasons :

First, the ego-mind is magnetically drawn to negativity because that is what sustains its point of view. Negativity by its very nature is magnetic; it pulls everything in toward itself much like physical mass creates gravity. 

Second, negativity is looking for resolution and release. All forms of suffering seek to be free from the grip of sorrow. Sometimes the ways suffering seeks release only creates more sorrow, as when one succumbs to blame, shame, victimhood, control, guilt, etc. But when suffering seeks its release through compassion, love and wisdom, the doors to resolution and freedom begin to open. 

The first and most important step is to remain fully conscious and present in the face of suffering. Because we experience our suffering deeply, we may think we are being fully conscious of it. But to be fully conscious means more than to simply experience suffering; it means to be fully accepting of it in the intimacy of the heart. It means to allow one’s sorrow (not only your own, but the sorrow of all beings) to crack open the heart. It means to stop defending yourself against your own pain and allow your point of view – your negative story about your suffering – to open up to new and unexpected perspectives. Holding your suffering in the felicity of love instead of the self-justifying or self-loathing narrative of ego protectionism is the key that unlocks the door to greater freedom and completeness.”

I have had the great fortune to be in several group fields recently and to embody and also learn a huge amount. This was from Adyashanti giving his finale event, the EarthWorks V in-person class with Anthony Gorman and an Embodiment class taught by Ric Weinman. Right now there is an extraordinary sense of Grace, Love and gratitude, in addition to a clear feeling of embodiment. Yet integrating all of this leaves me rather speechless to explain it – lol! Perhaps that’s the point 😉 

This appeared in the sky above us over Hyde Park, during a pivotal moment in conversation with friends on the evening the EarthWorks V class finished :-  

There are a few things from that very recent Embodiment class, however, which I would like to share. There were 157 of us present. It was beautiful to hear Ric reading from Adyashanti’s book ‘Falling Into Grace’, part of which contained fascinating notes on the end of suffering. The gist of this bit I feel is crucial to groc. It is essentially that, waking up to the true nature of our being but also waking up to a whole roomful of illusions we carry, is probably going to be the only way to end the suffering we feel. Awakening can be quite disturbing really, because “who wants to find out that everything they felt was real was nothing but a pocketful of dreams..? Who wants to find out that everything they hold onto and cling to is the very reason they suffer..?” 

Adyashanti went on to explain our addiction to approval, power and control, none of which brings an end to suffering – and, in fact, is the actual cause of it. So the truth is that most of us don’t actually want to wake up at all; we don’t want to end our suffering – rather, we want to manage it. We would like to have a little bit less of it, so that we can just go on with our lives as they are – unchanged, the way we want to live them. Hearing Adya’s words reminded me a bit of something Jesus is supposed to have said, written in the Gospel of Thomas : “Seek, and you shall find. But when you find, you will be disturbed. And when you are disturbed, you will marvel. And then you will reign. And after you have reigned, you will rest.” Taken in the correct manner and not by the ego, this statement can be very freeing. The deepest addiction we have is to suffering itself – and this is something we really don’t want to see. “The very thing we want to be without is the thing we’re addicted to.” If we look at this sincerely, it can be revealed that we have no idea how to live without suffering. We don’t know how to interact, what to do with our time and energy or how to be, if we aren’t suffering.

The Fire of Truth

I learned a lot from an Adyashanti satsang I was listening to on the tube this week. I will try to convey some of that learning here. The recording was made in 2002, which was the year I first met Adyashanti (now retired), when he transformed my perspective on awakening completely. When we allow ourselves to experience this moment exactly as it is, the barrier between what’s happening in the outside world and inside our skin becomes very transparent. Experiencing sounds – the humdrum of life in the street, the cars – and the sounds inside us become of the same quality. A feeling in our body isn’t really different than the sound of a vehicle – not ours and not other than ours. An understanding which is not in words, but is the direct experience of what is, reveals itself as a great gift of not looking for an alternate experience. Something mysterious knows…something mysterious experiences this moment. Yet we can’t say what it is. Because as soon as we try to – it’s not that. It’s closer, more immediate. As soon as we think about it, it’s not the thoughts – it’s before a thought. It’s closer. We begin to experience directly that we don’t exist, and yet know that we do – but we don’t, but we do… Knowing beyond understanding, yet not able to define in any way. Knowing by this mysterious unknown experiencer. We are not us after all; maybe we are this, that is awake, before all seeking. This mysterious awakeneness… But to sacrifice this for something else – for anything else… Can we not sacrifice this that’s awake, in the chair where we happen to be sitting? Not sacrifice this for the promise of a better moment. A better event, a better experience. This is the Fire of Truth. This that is awake now in us – as us – shows up the utter irrelevance of every other argument, whatever that may be. This fire is unseen and unknown. We all have a choice of, what do I give my life to? Maybe this choice has never been conscious before, but now it is. What is important to us..? Don’t lose ourself – are we going somewhere? Or are we staying here? Just notice… Whatever we do is ok 🙂 🙂 🙂 Just notice where we’re choosing to go. This is it – this is the fire. It does not leave dramatics in its wake – it leaves something unspeakable in its wake. Something more satisfying than joy, something more satisfying than peace. Beyond excitement. When we sell this that is awake out, if we sell it out – be aware and awake to what we’re selling it out to. Make the sure the bargain is what we want it to be. Or perhaps we may, by some Grace, realise that nothing inside of us wants to sell this that is awake out anymore. Not even for our security, our existence or the good opinion of others. A life free from negotiation and bargaining. As Tony Parsons used to ask us, “Are you in business with life?” This is what the fire of this Truth removes from us : our negotiation and our bargaining with what is. That violence of attitude is finally absent. To really receive this gift fully, it’s got to be given to everybody, everywhere. We’ve got to notice that this that is awake doesn’t want anyone to change or improve – at all. That’s the ash of the fire. “A minute a go I wanted you to change, but now I don’t. You’re fine.” Nobody conformed to our pattern and yet happiness more than anything before is now here. This that is awake is the same in everybody and everything. The rest is a beautiful diversity.

I would like to tell a little story about my time at the ashram in India with Amma. When my friends and I were reunited in Amritapuri, we received Grace upon Grace continuously for about a week and a half. It was like being in heaven… This is how it can be with Amma sometimes; just beyond…….. During this ecstatic period, each of us could be found at different times literally crying with tears of joy and gratitude, because of the things that kept happening to us. One such time, we were asked by another friend to participate in the seva of passing the Prasad plates during Amma’s Tuesday lunch offering. In order to receive this free food, Indians have been known to travel – by foot – for miles on end to reach the ashram. Obviously this action can be caused by hunger and poverty, but also – and this is one of the things I most love about India – by the cherishing of Divinity. The atmosphere in the entire country is permeated with that; no sooner than you step off the plane, you can begin to sense it. 

So there we were in the Big Hall in Amritapuri, watching hundreds of devotees eagerly lining up to receive a plate of food blessed by Amma. People queue two or three abreast and walk up a ramp to where Amma is seated, handing out plate by plate as they nervously take it from Her. If a devotee is very elderly or disabled, after Amma touches the plate it gets passed down to a line of sevites, who ensure its safe passage into the hands of that devotee, who by then is being helped to walk. Upon entering this seva, I broke down in tears. I felt overwhelmed by the sense of unconditional Love in the air, in my life and by the Grace flowing everywhere. And I just felt so grateful to be there, experiencing this, and towards Amma…I couldn’t hold back my tears. Eventually, I was given the position in the line of sevites whereby I could see the whole of Amma directly. As everything was happening, it was as if She opened a window into Reality for me. As I was passing the plates along, I felt everything slow down, to the point of timelessness : time seemed to evaporate and actions seemed to be as if in slow-motion. Then I felt a kind of motion like the fabric of Reality got consumed / sucked in / absorbed into Mystery. Amma began to reveal to me that She was in control of everyone in the scene. I perceived Her as Divinity moving every single person and manifesting every other movement taking place as well, right from the way people walked, to if the food plate dropped on the floor, to if it didn’t – every tiny detail was included in that Totality. Everything appeared as both moving and still at once. It seemed comical to me when I gazed at people, that they were acting as though they were individuals. Because I could see with clarity that this was not the case. It was like Amma was the centre, so-to-speak, directing Creation; with absolutely no separation between these apparent two. All was being directed by Her Will.

Some of you may have been wondering why you cannot find a session on my Calendly schedule anytime soon. It is because I have been in Cornwall with my family and am about to embark on a journey to Amritapuri. I’m really sorry that I haven’t let you know sooner.There are times when Amma calls us to Her suddenly and this is one of those times. I really wanted to explain, but simply haven’t had the chance to sit down properly and write until now. It was originally my plan to go to the ashram further down the line (like mid-July / August, not close to the Cornwall holiday), yet the Divine had other plans. I offer you my apologies for the abruptness of this announcement. 

I will be away 12th June – 17th July. I will not be offering individual sessions while in the ashram. However, the Free Online Groups Healings will continue – and from Amma’s direct physical presence 🙂

I find myself still in a very deep integration process after the recent Deepening in Divinity class I took in Boston. I cannot seem to come up with words to describe either the class, the impacts of it or where I am now in my embodiment. When something this profound hits you, there is almost a sense of disbelief, even while it is happening. All I wish to express at this point is, don’t ever lose faith or trust and don’t ever stop surrendering. When one begins to see the way things really are, automatically there is a recognition of just how Divine the whole of life actually is. And, perhaps also, how foolish one has been not to have seen that during some parts of the journey of life.

I saw some of you at the EarthShift this past weekend 🙂 Wasn’t it incredible..? I have to say that I think, for me, that was the most intense and striking one to date (aside from the first one I ever did in 2002). In this one, we managed to create – well, Merlin and the Angels really 😉 – a massive Peace Portal into humanity. There was one particular episode we all did together where I could literally feel the Peace bridging into humanity and it made me cry. It was so palpable…it felt like Peace was enveloping the whole human race. I felt a renewed hope, which burst my heart open and I could sense the reality of Peace. It cut through everything…all the bullshit, everything… It was as if I could see through all the ‘stuff’ that gets in the way and perceive this inpouring of Peace into Creation. That river or ocean of Peace was a true and direct expression of Divinity. I felt so awe-struck and grateful to be part of the unfoldment of that and for the wider Divine context of my role in life. To be able to make a small contribution to the healing of this human race was experienced as a deep fortune and privilege.

The following morning, I was sitting in bliss on my balcony in the sunshine, when something truly remarkable happened. It seemed to demonstrate or hint at the power of these EarthShifts. I received an out-of-the-blue message from one of you, who had not been in the class nor knew anything about it. He wanted to donate money to Amma’s charity and wondered could I pass it on to Amma..? Aside from the beauty of that, the interesting thing was that I had previously made a donation to Amma’s charity for the EarthShift on behalf of me and a friend who did the class with me – but had had the subtle thought that perhaps I hadn’t given enough for two people. Now it felt as if the person sending that message was adding the final amount to our joint contribution! You know when you have a slight thought without attachment and then it comes true..? Things line up. It was one of those. I couldn’t get over the timing of this person’s apparently ‘random’ request! 

Our message stream culminated in this stunning statement from him about his reason for wanting to donate the money : “Have an opportunity to be connected to something bigger, more caring than you feel yourself, giving a hope. It’s like a light string, and i wish everyone have that Thread of light no matter what, to escape and be Safe.” Aside from how beautiful his service orientation is, he couldn’t have known that during the EarthShift we had each received the gift of a Thread of Peace into our personal systems! I am convinced that this person sensed that on some level, without being there in the class and without me communicating anything at all about it to him at any stage. The practically identical language he used is not a coincidence in my opinion. Just amazing stuff… 

Thank you to the person who sent me this statement during the week. It is something which has been resounding in my heart for many years now, though she didn’t know that – another wow! I feel it really captures the reason, so-to-speak, why ‘personal’ awakening is significant in manifesting peace in the world :-

Divine Magic II

I am honestly amazed to say that it has happened again – a person went through awakening in a session. Originally, this person only came because of a stomach problem, yet within only 3 sessions and 2 Vortex Healing classes, she lost her Core Veil during a session (confirmed later on by Ric). As if that wasn’t incredible enough on its own, during a simple phone call with her best friend in the weeks which followed, that friend ended up with a hole being blown through her Core Veil during the phone call! It came to light in a session with said friend and was later confirmed by Ric. Although what I am writing here now is a very nutshell version of everything which has unfolded (and it’s also impossible to capture the incredible journey these two have been – and are still – on), I wanted to paint a bit of a picture because it’s just so beautiful… 

I have just been fortunate enough to take the Vortex Healing class Divine Magic II 🙂 Divine Magic II is a beautiful new energy which feels to me broad, subtler than say The Magical Jewel and very very magical… It also seeps into all other transmissions, increasing their power by around 15%. 

The rich learning in class often mesmerises me…I think all of us really. I would like to share some wisdom from the class with you here. A common question that people in awakening circles will ask is how to ‘manifest’ a relationship and indeed this came up during one Q&A with Ric. He explained that the truth is, if there is a particular reason for it in terms of your awakening path, the Divine will manifest one for you anyway. At the same time, of course you can do things to make yourself more ripe for whatever you want – like pray, for example, which is in a sense beseeching the Magic of all that Is to manifest something for you. But that’s distinct from you being able to manifest it yourself. There is a whole school out there which believes in a kind of ‘positive thinking’ way of doing things, where you repeat whatever you want over and over etc. In Ric’s view, that’s bullshit really and I would agree with that. But what the Divine will sometimes do, is ‘play the game’. It will let the person think they’re manifesting what they want (sort of a set-up), then push comes to shove and it becomes a really important thing and suddenly they can’t do anything… It’s as if the Divine was setting the ego up, kind of like when you’re reeling in a really big fish – you’ve got to give it a lot of line to work with. Ric said he has seen that happen and I can also say that I have lived that. 

I guess the thing to grasp here, is that it’s the ego’s ultimate fantasy that it can simply manifest what it wants. And you can look around the wellness scene and see thousands of people and schools offering this. But you can bet on it that the universe has not been arranged to fit the ego’s ultimate fantasy. Now on the other hand, there can be a desire very deep in the heart and there can also be Surrender, which is what one could say the path is ‘looking for’ so-to-speak. Certainly that is going to be responded to a lot more from the universe than an “I have the power” attitude. By the way, one way to explain what Surrender is, is to imagine how a person feels and responds when they see a baby. 

On Karma : karma is not just about what we do, it’s about the energy we are coming from to do it. 

What is the difference between Divinity and Magic? Ric explained it’s that Magic is something the Divine has. It’s an expression of Divinity and a power which Divinity has. It’s the ability the Divine has to create something out of nothing.

Some wonderful news : my brother Luke got married today in a civil partnership to the wonderful Tash 🙂 They have been together for around 13 years and have Eva, who will be 4 this month 🙂 I love their relationship and I’m so glad it’s her who is with my brother 🙂 🙂 🙂

But perhaps try seeing this process as part of the self-effort and pilgrimage attitude necessary to accept Truth and freedom.

Something I have been reminded of this week is that, when we make a prayer or use our energetic tools with a selfless attitude for someone else – our intention always manifests. I imagine many of you have observed this phenomenon. Sometimes we make a selfish intention – and that is natural! – and then we feel disappointed because it doesn’t come to life. But it’s easy to experience what happens when instead, one day (almost like an accident), we happen to create a movement into life which is truly selfless. One important aspect to this process, is making your intention without expectation. That might even sound contradictory in a way, yet I have noticed it can be the X factor in manifestation.

Message From Beyond

I would like to share some good news with you. After the rollercoaster of the past two years with Portugal, I am staying here in London. It’s been a nerve-wracking process of choosing, particularly during the last two months. My absolute deepest gratitude to Ric Weinman for assisting me with this. We had a public exchange in the Manifesting Intention class, which was the beginning of the gradual collapse of a house-of-cards within me. Something that he also helped me see was that, whatever I choose – truth or fiction – to take responsibility. That missing piece of the puzzle was the game-changer… 

Amma will be holding a program in London this year 🙂 🙂 🙂  It will be some time from April onwards, but as yet no one knows the dates. 

A friend who had been living with Amma for 3 months recently, shared something important with me. Amma said that the last two weeks of March this year will be very bad indeed for travel. Apparently there will be some kind of affliction in general in humanity at that time, which will impact travelling. 

I would like to share the exciting news that someone’s Core Veil moved in a private session recently 🙂 I don’t remember this ever having happened before. The person is a Vortex Healing student (Lifeform) and I was intentionally working to release the Core Veil. There was a moment in the Zoom session, when I felt something totally leave her. And simultaneously, she breathed a huge breath. I noticed that afterwards her breathing pattern had changed dramatically. She reported that the word “Freedom” had come to her in that moment. I also noticed in the post-session dialogue, that her voice seemed to be speaking from a different place, her face had relaxed and she expressed recognition that it was the Divine looking at me now, rather than her. I checked in with Ric to make sure and he confirmed what I felt had happened. Nevertheless, I remain floored by it…

Although I wish to emphasise that every single session and Group for me is special, it’s not every day that one receives a message from beyond. It was during a session with the wonderful person I wrote about last time, who has a Guardian Angel in her field. This person recently said post-session, that the Angel had spoken to her for the first time and that it had a message for me. I was very surprised. The message was, “I see the beauty in your precious heart.” Even writing this now, I get goosebumps everywhere…and a feeling of depth…of stillness…and of becoming completely quieted by something. For personal reasons, the gratitude I felt upon hearing those words is truly impossible to convey.

Radiating in all directions

‘I Am That’ pg. 296 – “Q : You make all these extraordinary statements about yourself. What makes you say those things? What do you mean by saying that you are beyond space and time?

M : You ask and the answer comes. I watch myself – I watch the answer and see no contradiction. It is clear to me that I am telling you the truth. It is all very simple. Only you must trust me that I mean what I say, that I am quite serious. As I told you already, my Guru showed me my true nature – and the true nature of the world. Having realised that I am one with, and yet beyond the world, I became free from all desire and fear. I did not reason out that I should be free – I found myself free – unexpectedly, without the least effort. This freedom from desire and fear has remained with me since then. Another thing I noticed was that I do not need to make an effort; the deed follows the thought, without delay and friction. I have also found that thoughts become self-fulfilling; things would fall in place smoothly and rightly. The main change was in the mind; it became motionless and silent, responding quickly, but not perpetuating the response. Spontaneity became real. And above all, infinite affection, love, dark and quiet, radiating in all directions, embracing all, making all interesting and beautiful, significant and auspicious.

Q : We are told that various Yogic powers arise spontaneously in a man who has realised his own true being. What is your experience in these matters?

M : Man’s fivefold body (physical etc.) has potential powers beyond our wildest dreams. Not only is the entire universe reflected in man, but also the power to control the universe is waiting to be used by him. The wise man is not anxious to use such powers, except when the situation calls for them. He finds the abilities and skills of the human personality quite adequate for the business of daily living. Some of the powers can be developed by specialised training, but the man who flaunts such powers is still in bondage. The wise man counts nothing as his own. When at some time and place some miracle is attributed to some person, he will not establish any causal link between events and people, nor will he allow any conclusions to be drawn. All happened as it happened because it had to happen; everything happens as it does, because the universe is as it is.” (for interested parties, that was the passage I read out at the beginning of the last Group Healing)

I want to highlight a very moving session which happened recently. A new person who has taken Jewel class in Vortex Healing came to see me. I must say, her present-life backstory was genuinely heartbreaking and horrifying… I will not convey details, but suffice to say it was the most extreme history I have ever heard (which includes my years working as a Therapist in deprived areas of London). Here’s the thing though, when I bridged into her system expecting the worst, what I felt was the opposite. There was all this Light which seemed to be emanating from her… I began to feel I was being bathed in Angelic Light. After the session, I wrote to Ric Weinman with a photo, saying I thought it possible that this person might be an Incarnated Angel. 

When I lay down that night, I couldn’t stop thinking about the whole thing. I decided to tune into some Incarnated Angels I know (I am only aware of 2 actually) and then back to this client. I felt that there was something the same, yet something different. I then had a premonition of Ric explaining to me that this person has a Guardian Angel in her field. When I opened my inbox the following day, that is exactly what he said. I have never experienced a Guardian Angel before (as far as I remember anyway), so this is beyond exciting! (NB : people do sometimes believe they have one – you may have already heard somebody say this. Plus, it’s a term in common verbiage. Yet a real Guardian Angel is very rare.) The most significant thing about this particular unfoldment – I suppose what moved me the most – is the sense of how deeply help was needed and that it came to this person. I am infinitely moved by this……….it really leaves me in awe of the Divine.

My Mum and I had fun visiting the AdWomen exhibition at the Museum of Brands in London last week 🙂 As many of you know, my mother Barbara Nokes is one of the most celebrated and awarded Advertising creatives globally, rising to fame during the Golden Age of Advertising in the 80s and 90s. Although by no means her only work, she wrote the concept and screenplay for (and also cast Nick Kamen in) the now legendary Levi’s ‘Launderette’ commercial, in 1985. I felt proud to see her splattered all over this exhibition and to see how much the other women who also shaped culture at that time were inspired by her 🙂 Here is a little souvenir, although the exhibition’s screening of ‘Madwomen’ was our favourite bit. That documentary is probably still available on Channel 4 in some capacity if you would like to watch, plus this exhibition is still on in Ladbroke Grove :-

We may sometimes wonder about (or at!) the experience of a Master’s inner world. Amma once said of this, that the reality She experiences is best described as “the blissful silence of love.”

“When aliveness (or other aspects of vitality) are low, the body will tend to compensate by cranking up the nervous system (or using stimulants), which over time exhausts it. So when you bring up the aliveness (or other aspects of vitality), the nervous system will relax and the person may feel more tired than before for a few days, which could be confusing. But what has happened is that they now have enough energy to relax. It’s for the same reason that when a person is over-tired and can’t sleep, instead of trying to relax them the best thing to do is energise them.”

Eclipsed Out 

Hello 🙂 

How are you? 

I am well here in Portugal 🙂 There was a Solar Eclipse tonight at 21 40 (Lisbon / London time). Amma has often said how inauspicious these are and that they show a malefic alignment. So hopefully you didn’t look at the eclipse itself? Don’t worry if you did, it’s just ideal not to. As general eclipse advice (all of kinds) it’s good to be indoors, doing whichever spiritual practices you like, either as a group or solo. You may well have felt the fiery build-up to this, and it is noteworthy that many of us experience more intensity before the event, than during it. We have also been in a kind-of ‘eclipse corridor’ between the lunar eclipse on 18th Sept and this one today. So things will improve now we are through 🙂

I would like to share a few more anecdotes from the U.S. Tour with Amma this summer. 

In many satsangs, Amma gave us a sobering warning, saying that “Because we lack spiritual understanding, we turn to drugs in search of peace.” In another, She said that our heart is like a parachute : if it opens, it can save us and even others. But if it fails to open, we are in big trouble. 

I may have already shared this one, but the thing which most strikes me in what Amma communicates verbally to us, are actually Her words upon arriving on stage :-

“Amma bows down to all of you, who are the very embodiments of pure love and the supreme consciousness”

I often reflect upon the fact that, She actually knows that. The only problem here is that we don’t know it. This is one of the reasons Amma is always so relaxed. During Q&A in Darshan or the Question Line, you could be asking the most crucial of questions from your point of view, yet Amma is totally unfazed by it : perfectly relaxed, yet intimately engaged. She doesn’t need to distance Herself away from the suffering or the dilemma you are presenting and Her beautifully undisturbed manner melts even the most anxious of hearts. She knows exactly what you are, therefore She remains unruffled by your inner kicking and screaming – lol! My friends and I often walk away feeling something along the lines that, if Amma is not worried about this – am I really worried..?

By request from the last Group Healing, I am sharing the awakening which happened this year during The Magical Jewel class :- 

There was a meditation in which Ric Weinman asked the class to “use the world as the mantra”. All-of-a-sudden, for some unknown reason, I recognised immediately what was being pointed to. It was as if whatever Ric was instructing, I was able to sense both what he was talking about and where he was saying it from. So when the aforementioned words were spoken, I burst into tears and my breathing completely changed in seeing this : the world itself IS Divinity. 

Everything began to ‘become’ this beauty…and I couldn’t contain it. My body could not contain the revelation of that because of the depth it reached. Simultaneously, there was a sense of ‘this is the missing piece of the puzzle. This is what I always longed to admit to myself and to surrender to.’ I began more and more to perceive this true beauty and it broke my heart completely… Then the crying and the breathing really exploded even more and my body was breaking apart and melting away into That. I could see that every single thing was as-if being birthed by Divinity as its own Self. There was no longer any subject / object though : it was as if the world was the Divine in a complete and total way. The gratitude to perceive it all and the inherent joy of the world was totally overwhelming……… The beauty was so exquisite that I couldn’t contain in my body what I was feeling and so everything broke, again and again… The insights which were coming in were impossible to record mentally, but it was like a flow throughout the being. When I would pray to Amma, it was like She was melted into the world. 

I was shocked by two things : first of all, how could I have missed this? And secondly, how could I think that anything which had happened was bad or wrong? Then I started to feel this remorse about the things I had said about people or done or thought and I began to say sorry via inner prayer profusely. But when I said sorry, there was this benevolence and Love which met the apologies and were pouring over those “wrongdoings” like a kind of fluid of Love – yet beyond Love. Perhaps it was similar to what Adyashanti calls Redemptive Love. There was this profound sense of redemption of everything I had “done wrong” – and for everyone else too. I couldn’t believe I had ever thought someone had wronged me. That whole sense was completely gone……..and I saw that there was absolutely no truth in it. How foolish I had been not to see that no-one could ever do that and I could never do that. Everything was ‘forgiven’ so-to-speak, and then it was noticed that there was actually an inherent sense of forgiveness in the world itself. The world was forgiving everyone that was doing these things, including even me. And this was the overriding revelation : that the world itself is Divinity. There was no ‘Divine coming into creation’, there were no two different things happening, even though the Divine was birthing the world. At another time, this would have seemed like a paradox, yet there was no sense of paradox. All I could do, was to bow down in front of this beauty… Although there was no subject / object or anything like that, there was a bowing down in true reverence for what was being seen. 

There was an in-loveness with life, yet with everything being the same thing there wasn’t any neediness, attachment or drama. There were also no exceptions being made to this Loving : it was a total and utter thing. It didn’t make exceptions for this person or that person. I was praying, “Let me not forget this. Let me live from this, instead of going back to the old way of acting out and getting into dramas.” I was almost begging, “Let me not forget what I’ve seen. Let me live this now.” Simultaneously, strangely enough, there was such a stillness and a resting and a Silence. It was a recognition of what life actually is and how much I love it. It took me out of this ‘trying to get something from life’ and ending up eventually in despair, which was replaced with, ‘of course I love life!’ There was a distinct returning. It was a return to this absolute love of the world, this total Love…for no reason and with no agenda. From That, naturally arose tender celebration.

I would like to tell you the story of what happened to me today, to try to convey some of the Wild Grace which permeates these Tours with Amma. 

I had just left my friend and the hotel we were staying in and wanted to find coffee, having stayed up with Amma all night for Devi Bhava here in Boston. I went to a random cafe nearby and, as I approached the counter, I could feel Amma (from within) nudging me to strike up a conversation with the people in front of me in line. I resisted, yet the feeling persisted. Finally, I started talking to them and discovered that they were actually Amma devotees who had just been to the program. We had a brief but warm and joyful conversation and afterwards I sat down in a different part of the cafe. I wanted to have breakfast alone because I was beginning to get concerned that I hadn’t booked anything for this leg of the journey. Basically, I was winging it – lol! I had no accommodation for tonight and no transport either. 

No sooner than I had finished eating, when an Indian family from London (who I had not yet noticed at the next table) began talking to me. They were grateful because I had helped them during the program to gain permission to give Prasad to Amma (one of those closely guarded seva activities in which we get close to Amma). In our short, yet also somehow timeless conversation, they ended up giving me vital information about Q&As with Amma – without even knowing that this matter was at the forefront of my mind. 

The next moment, the lady from the earlier conversation (at the counter) approached me and asked if I wanted a ride as she was about to leave for Boston airport. I checked the route and area and realised I could easily access the city from there, so I gratefully accepted her offer – thinking that I would get a hotel for the night in Boston itself. I prayed with gratitude to Amma, already amazed by the assistance I was being offered by complete strangers and feeling the rising Grace behind it all. In the car, this lady (Aishwarya / Landry) told me a story about a family she had met on Europe Tour in Barcelona in 2018. Later on in the car journey, I mentioned Vortex Healing and – to my amazement – it turned out that the family from her story was Daniel Wald, Amanda and Mala (friends / Vortex Healing teacher)! Aishwarya and I were so blown away that we were almost screaming with delight and her teenage daughter Uma had to tell us to pipe down – lol! We had a beautiful, warm and wonderful conversation for the rest of the journey 🙂 filled with sharing and stories. When I got out of the car, I thought I may as well search for a hotel there, since sometimes they are less expensive near an airport. Literally just as I opened my phone to do so, I received a message out-of-the-blue from a devotee friend whom I had seen earlier on the Tour. For some reason, even though we rarely contact each other, she messaged specifically to offer me a place to stay! 🙂 I was mesmerised, especially by the timing….… And so it has unfolded and I am now on the train to her place in beautiful Rhode Island, to swim in the Atlantic and unwind, before the New York leg of Amma’s Tour.

Breaking Into Bhakti

How are you?

I am very well indeed and am now writing to you from London 🙂 

At the end of my stay in Amritapuri, which was filled with peace and happiness this time, I found myself sitting on the floor of the main hall for bhajans. My flight was to leave later on that night, so (in a way) I was saying goodbye to Amma. 

I’m going to try to convey what it feels like to be with this Living Master and perhaps a tiny bit of what She is doing with our paths to God-realisation. It is difficult to do so, partly because you have to have really stayed with Amma for a good amount of time to grok this, and partly because it is so tricky to communicate in words what is totally beyond words. Nevertheless, I feel to try. 

There was a particular bhajan which Amma sang that night which seemed to crack me open completely. I often feel that She takes us from a sort-of habitual mundane emotional state to the uppermost heights of what the passion for Divinity is capable of; and it can happen in a split second when She sings. All She needs is a tiny crack – a hair’s breadth of space – in which to reveal the Great Mystery in all its glory. As I was sitting there singing with everyone, this happened to a whole new degree. Amma leaves the very best til last 😉 

As my heart burst with longing, I started sobbing uncontrollably and there was a surrender which felt almost physical and beyond physicality at the same time, as if my heart opened from the front to the back (spine) and outwards, beyond…….. What I was feeling was a blend of the most immense gratitude, with joy – pure joy – and devotional Love (Bhakti). As my system underwent Amma’s ‘surgery’, I felt the return to Innocence, unconditional Love and the perception (as if for the first time) of what She is doing with us all. I could see in that moment, that Amma is the salvation for the whole of humanity. Ric Weinman once told me that She “has the long-haul job of transforming the heart of humanity” and Adyashanti once created a series about what he describes as ‘Redemptive Love’. It was as if those two insights came alive at once, yet in a brand new way, and then went beyond even that… 

There was this absolutely overwhelming – literally overwhelming – gratitude. It was for all of the above and also for the beyondness of what was being revealed, and yet simultaneously it was uncaused. There was zero sense of specialness, yet a complete sense of being present and available for the transformation happening through this body and heart and through the bodies and hearts of all those around me on that sacred ground. Perhaps it could be said that the small self / me / I suddenly broke open and was consumed by / merged into Divinity / became what it truly had always been. The crying was so intense that I couldn’t contain it in any way. I was floored byTrue Love, fiery devotion (which was also recognised as being choiceless) and the sense of being in the right place at the right time : of pre-destiny. That was mixed with the utter gratefulness for what Amma has done for us all, and how different things could have been if She hadn’t come to Earth during this era. This seeing engendered in me such confidence…….trust, surrender, and faith in the highest. It was breathtaking.

In the taxi on the way to Trivandrum airport afterwards, I noticed that there was complete Peace, “the peace which surpasses all understanding” as Adyashanti puts it. Thoughts would still arise and pass, but ‘witnessing’ – in the most engaged way – would simply perceive them, without interfering. It was a simple seeing, no more no less. I realised that you don’t actually need detachment when Bhakti has taken over. Love ‘becomes’ (so-to-speak) the only thing which makes sense. And the stunning thing is, it doesn’t even need to make sense.

A natural aspect of Embodiment of whatever degree of awakening one has realised, is service (seva), as the force of awake energy moves from the personal to the impersonal. Until that shift happens, Embodiment itself means very little at all, no matter how many classes / awakenings / breakthroughs / experiences of Divinity etc. etc. one has been through. Both Adyashanti and Eckhart Tolle have spoken eloquently on this. Another part of such Embodiment though, could perhaps be described as the stillness aspect. Having the opportunity to sit for many hours on stage with Amma and simply meditating in that radiance, is incredibly nourishing for this aspect. I have never found anything better for Embodiment and certainly no replacement for this simple and humbling act. Beholding the beauty of this avatar, this direct incarnation of Divinity in a human body, is a motion of awe….…any identification with form, any separation lingering, anything ‘else’, gently dissolves back into Divinity. 

It becomes clearer and clearer that the ‘reason’ (if there is one or needs to be) for coming here to Amritapuri is God-realisation. And in every single Darshan, Amma is putting it right in our face! Because of our naturally and passionately arising devotion to Amma, and the resulting alignment, surrender and deepening (in Divinity) created by that, in my opinion it will follow for Amma’s children.

Breathe

Hello 🙂

How are you? 

I am currently down with what seems like Covid and that is why I haven’t written until now. I had an incredible start to my journey with Amma though………so I’m definitely not complaining 🙂 Plus, I feel fortunate, since some people in this ashram are now in hospital with this. At one point, I must say, I was extremely ill with fever, nerve pain, unable to breathe properly, streaming nose, sore throat and so weak I couldn’t walk further than across the room. Thank goodness for Vortex Healing! I am still not yet well enough to give sessions, so please stay tuned for that. I hope to begin again in the next few days. I really miss you all and I miss working 😦 The only thing I have been able to offer while totally confined to this room, is to create a mix. It may not be a healing session, but I hope it brings you some enjoyment / dancing / goosebumps at least 🙂

It’s unlikely that I will be able to offer the Free Online Group Healings until my return to London in mid-March. However, once I am back in London I will be offering these, plus private in-person sessions again as before 🙂

Yes, the Free Online Group Healings are back on each fortnight 🙂 🙂 🙂 Let’s come together again to water the seeds of faith, optimism and surrender, so that the heart can breathe again. Although each Group Healing will have a specific focus, they are also an opportunity to rest and to soak up the nectar of  the Divine practices you have been engaging in. Here, Divinity creates a space of softness and tenderness to heal, allowing many levels of intimate sharing to unfold – without pressure.

In Wild Heaven 

Hello 🙂

How are you? 

I am great 🙂 Being here with a direct physical incarnation of Divinity, living in harmony with nature,  people and animals and having an awakening focus to everything each day, feels like wild heaven… In fact, I heard a wonderful song of similar name on the plane jukebox flying here: R.E.M’s ‘Near Wild Heaven’. 

It occurs to me that the more we willingly relinquish in favour of Truth, Reality, unconditioned Love – the happier we are. Or at least, the happier we end up: it can involve a process, sometimes a rather long one – lol! I believe this is also why Amma recommends seva (selfless service) as the primary awakening practice for all her devotees. In the deepest place within, it quite simply makes a human being happiest to serve without personal gain. 

My friends and I have been sharing that it is actually difficult to do paid work here at the ashram, because one feels as if going against a great tide…as if, in the very air and atmosphere of Amritapuri, this dharma is flowing.  

As such, I have settled on a new schedule for Private Sessions while I am here with Amma. I have not yet settled on the same for the Groups, I am still feeling into that and patiently awaiting intuition. Therefore, for now I have cancelled all existing Group Healings, so please note this. 

I will be available for one Private Session per day on Zoom in the usual way, but for 7 days per week. Sessions will be at 2 30pm IST (9am GMT) each day. This begins on the 17th February. As a  reminder, I am returning to London on the 12th April and will adjust my availability accordingly at that time. Apologies if any of this is an inconvenience you.

I would like to share a couple of short points, from things I have learned by listening to the satsangs and my experiences here. 

One aspect of compassion is viewing all experiences which come to us – the good, the bad and the ugly – as gifts from God. When this attitude becomes true and real, the mind immediately becomes tranquil. 

Something crucial I find about Darshan with Amma, in particular when asking a question, is that – whatever I bring – Amma consistently responds with such a relaxed feeling and way about Her. It makes me feel that, if Amma is so relaxed about this, perhaps I can relax about it too. That is one of the greatest gifts Amma has given me over the course of my lifetime (and possibly many lifetimes – who knows?). 

One devotee shared a very beautiful thing which Amma once said : “At the end of our days on this earth, after all our successes and failures, the measure of our life will be how much we have loved” ~ Amma

Following the previous Group Healing, I received a deeply touching email from one of you, along with other messages and emails about your experiences. These are always gratefully received, so thank you 🙂 I am including parts of the aforementioned email anonymously:-

“I had my first mini-bhakti today, most likely because of your group healing. I loved the story of Amma, then the healing itself in which I felt things, then your email about weeping and crying out to Divinity…so this afternoon, during a transmission in which I felt that the Merlin-mantra was only coming out of my mind, I somehow could surrender and open up, give in to a longing for connection with Merlin/Divinity, and I was in tears, and ‘held’, seen. ’Twas a small wonder, and all because I attended your group healing…”

I want to acknowledge the death of the Queen, the appointment of King Charles III and the appointment of Prime Minister Liz Truss. Quite an epic rollercoaster for the UK / Britain, in the space of only a few days!! Whatever your view may be, it is a significant loss and one which has been felt in some way by everyone, particularly in London. ‘Yantra Fridays’ with Anthony are back on 🙂 These are free and they are seva (selfless service) for the earth and humanity. Anyone who has completed the Foundational training (or above) can participate. Please contact me if you would like to do this and do not have the details to join. These sessions are very powerful indeed: yesterday, I participated and a friend of 20 years spontaneously called me straight afterwards, who had also been there. We could barely communicate at first, because we were so blasted by the intensity of the energetic from the Divine Doors. We were just laughing so hard! Unbeknownst to us during the Yantra, our brains had been reconfigured in some way – perhaps an upgrade – which I am still feeling today. It’s like a kind of bliss and harmonisation. 

Are you interested in learning a meditation technique directly from Amma’s mind? The IAM (Integrated Amrita Meditation) Technique came about in 2004 (if I remember correctly). Apparently, Amma went for a walk around Amritapuri ashram in the wee hours of the morning, when no-one was about, and the steps came to Her one-by-one in a vision while gazing at the sea. I first learned it that same year, at the San Ramon ashram. I found it tremendously helpful each morning during my brief affair with Advertising. When in the office, I felt I had a shield of protection around every part of me and a direct link to Divinity. Further down the line, I experienced samadhi for a few seconds during one part of the practice. Incredible… If you would like to investigate online options with this technique, please write to me and I will forward you the information you need to learn it anew, or to refresh your old practice. 

Did you know that you can see Amma live online every day? What a wonder…we are so blessed and graced to have the chance to be with a living Divine incarnation – a pure and direct embodiment of Divinity in human form – so regularly and easily 🙂 🙂 🙂 It is the first time in the history of the world that this is the case. Ever since the original pandemic lock-down, Amma has been providing this spiritual lifeline to all those who have met Her in-person or who have done seva for Embracing The World. Amma Live Tomorrow

Thank you to all those who attended the Group to heal Shame this Wednesday. I was deeply moved… Thank you for having such courage and for those who shared, to share in the way you did.

Amma is transmitting her monthly live public program online tomorrow 🙂 🙂 🙂 It begins at 12 30pm BST. There is a beautiful – and extended – White Flowers Meditation translated by Shubamrita or Swamiji, followed by a speech about personal experiences with Amma from one of the brahmacharis / brahmacharinis / ashram residents. Some of these speeches (satsangs) have been incredibly touching and transformative to be part of. The fire of devotional connection with the Guru is actually what I feel most deeply (of anything in my life) and sometimes these speeches communicate the wordless vastness of that surprisingly well. Amma will sing bhajans (devotional songs to the Divine) with her band and there is Arati (the fire ceremony). The whole program is usually about 4 hours. As such, feel free to dip in and out, or even have it on in the background if there is no other choice. You can also watch it on your phone if you are in transit. Simply the energy and consciousness coming through your screen will create healing for you, your home atmosphere and the people around you, I can assure you.

A funny little synchronicity happened today. I had been planning on writing to you with a link for Amma’s Pujas in her Amritapuri ashram, in order to support your lives and processes. Today, I happened to use a Vortex Healing technique to perform a Puja for one of you, in session. So it seems as if Pujas – and the magic and Grace of them – are in the air 🙂 

These Pujas in the Indian ashram are performed in the traditional manner, by Pujaris chosen by Amma who have a deep alignment with the Divine. Amma very recently said that the world is going through a malific period in terms of Vedic astrology. So it would actually be ideal to get a Puja done at this time. All proceeds go to Amma’s charity ‘Embracing The World’. This global humanitarian initiative provides a Covid 19 relief program to Indians with no other assistance, pensions for women, financial support for orphanages and speciality hospitals across India, amongst many other projects.
