Track + Passage

Hello 🙂

This is for those who attended the Group just now. I hesitate to provide a YouTube link to the Dire Straits track, because I would rather you hear it on either vinyl, tape or CD.

If you really have to though, there is the aforementioned option 😉 Here are the lyrics:-

Brothers In Arms

These mist covered mountains

Are a home now for me

But my home is the lowlands

And always will be

Some day you’ll return to

Your valleys and your farms

And you’ll no longer burn

To be brothers in arms

Through these fields of destruction

Baptisms of fire

I’ve watched all your suffering

As the battles raged higher

And though they did hurt me so bad

In the fear and alarm

You did not desert me

My brothers in arms

There’s so many different worlds

So many different suns

And we have just one world

But we live in different ones

Now the sun’s gone to hell

And the moon’s riding high

Let me bid you farewell

Every man has to die

But it’s written in the starlight

And every line on your palm

We’re fools to make war

On our brothers in arms

The passage was from Adyashanti’s book ‘The End of Your World’ page 41 – 43.

See you again in a fortnight I hope,

Love,

xDaisy

Amma Live Tomorrow

Hello 🙂

Thank you to all those who attended the Group to heal Shame this Wednesday. I was deeply moved… Thank you for having such courage and for those who shared, to share in the way you did.

Amma is transmitting her monthly live public program online tomorrow 🙂 🙂 🙂 It begins at 12 30pm BST. There is a beautiful – and extended – White Flowers Meditation translated by Shubamrita or Swamiji, followed by a speech about personal experiences with Amma from one of the brahmacharis / brahmacharinis / ashram residents. Some of these speeches (satsangs) have been incredibly touching and transformative to be part of. The fire of devotional connection with the Guru is actually what I feel most deeply (of anything in my life) and sometimes these speeches communicate the wordless vastness of that surprisingly well. Amma will sing bhajans (devotional songs to the Divine) with her band and there is Arati (the fire ceremony). The whole program is usually about 4 hours. As such, feel free to dip in and out, or even have it on in the background if there is no other choice. You can also watch it on your phone if you are in transit. Simply the energy and consciousness coming through your screen will create healing for you, your home atmosphere and the people around you, I can assure you.

You need to register, but it is free, as is everything which Amma does because it is always offered as seva (selfless service) :-

Looking forward to seeing you again in a coupe of weeks time at the next Group,

Free Online Group Healing: What Do You Value Most?

Hello 🙂

The next Free Online Group Healing is tomorrow @ 1pm BST. Thank you to those of you who have already booked. NB: please book only if you can DEFINITELY attend the session, and if you can remain on Zoom for the duration (1hr):-

https://www.wuji-web.uk/daisy

Please note another free event : every Friday @ 6pm BST, open to all Vortex students who have completed Foundational class – Yantra Fridays, with Anthony Gorman. Login details are posted regularly on the VortexHealers Group or the EarthWorks Group pages on Facebook.

I think it can be easy, when we are on an awakening path for a long time (or even if we are just beginning), to lose sight of what it is that truly took us there. Another way of saying this is that it is surprisingly easy, especially when getting into lots of complexity regarding technique or spiritual community, to forget what it is that one truly values most.

Yet without this rudder guiding our boat, we can end up in muddy or sometimes even dangerous waters. Dangerous – usually – in the sense of life consequences or of spiritualised ego. This week we are going to explore what we value most – not conceptually, but really. I will use guided meditation and Vortex Healing to assist you in your inquiry, although fundamentally such inquiry is guided from within. Just giving a little space for that…….can often be so helpful in the flourishing of your inner longing, fire and values.

My inspiration for addressing this subject came out of the connected closeness I have with one of my best friends and from Adyashanti’s seminal work ‘The Way of Liberation: a practical guide to spiritual enlightenment’ – a book I highly recommend if you feel drawn.

I am feeling the Love and sending it to you. You are more precious than you could ever imagine and far less of an individual than you could ever imagine too 🙂

Love,

xDaisy
