On holiday, I began to delve deeper into Adyashanti’s book ‘Sacred Inquiry’. I would like to recommend it as reading for you and I invite you to engage with it without any preconceived notions about awakening, even those gathered from Vortex Healing classes or sessions.

Please note that Amma’s charity is unique because nobody in the entire organisation is getting paid. What you give goes directly to those in need, because there is no middle man.
The upcoming Group will be about Faith. I have been receiving numerous signs, almost from every angle, to offer this as a theme. Similarly to how it takes a tremendous amount of Trust to rest in the unknown so that the known can reveal itself, Faith is a leap into the dazzling dark. Much of modern society secretly or overtly looks down on people who worship God or religion. However, is it not true that we are all already worshipping something..? Observe the relationship which many people have with status, for example, or with self-image. With power, wealth, with buying property, jewellery, with celebrities… I think you get the picture. In order to be worshipping anything at all, the ingredient of Faith has to be there already, inherently. But when we channel this self-effulgent Faith in a positive direction, we begin to live the potential of being human – of what it means to truly be alive and kicking. From this place, we can begin the journey out of contraction, self-centredness, separation and suffering, into freedom, Truth and Divinity.
Often, at the beginning of our awakening embodiment evolution, we need an event like a miracle to inspire Faith in something deeper. I’m not saying this is necessary at all, but nevertheless, it is the way things tend to go. Here is a video which tells the story of such an event.
