Made In India pt. 4

Hello 🙂

🕉 Om Amriteswaryai Namah 🕉

“The current situation the world is facing is not under our control. But there is one thing we can always keep in check – our mental attitude. Let us be strong and optimistic. To do this, we should focus on the Eternal. We should hold tightly to the feet of Paramatma. This steadfast faith and focus on the Paramatma can lift us beyond all kinds of limitations.” ~ Amma

The next Free Online Group Healing is tomorrow Friday 5th June @ 2pm London time. If you feel drawn to do so, please let your friends / fam / etc. know by sharing this link with them. Please book your place if you can remain on Zoom for the duration (1hr) in a quiet space free from distractions. Thank you🙏

I have had a couple of queries about this, so just by way of explanation – yes, I usually start the Groups 10 minutes early. It allows people time to arrive and allows me time to read from awakening books to you all. You are welcome to arrive early, but absolutely fine if you can’t or don’t wish to.

Before leaving Amritapuri in February, I was asked to join a Pilgrimage of North India. I gladly did so, having known very little of the country except for my visits to see Amma in Kerala. The idea was to visit the sacred sites of North India with a Group of (mainly) German and Swiss spiritual types, singing kirtan together along the way.

We travelled to the Haridwar area to stay at Santosh Puri ashram, where the atmosphere was truly spectacular… Imagine an area of the world where for thousands of years people have been performing Pujas and other devotional ceremonies, calling out to the Divine and surrendering to That. I think of all the places we visited on the Pilgrimage, that area – and especially that ashram – were my favourites. The history of this ashram is that, during the freedom of the 1960s, a woman visited the Guru there from Germany. She was so moved by the Truth she felt, that she threw both her passport and her visa straight into the nearby Ganga river! She never left India again for the following 45 years. She married the Guru and thus became the other Guru of Santosh Puri. The Gurus had 3 children, who now take care of the ashram and its visitors with utmost care, love and devotion. Check out the duni fire (sacred fire-pit), which has been burning continuously since my birth year of 1978 :-

The routine and vibe were so wonderful at Santosh Puri, I felt I could have stayed there for months. A lot of the time I was wandering around in Bliss…the whole thing was so profoundly embodying and nourishing. We would rise at 3 30am, have a cold bucket shower (out of respect for the sadhana we were about to do) and sit by the fire in silent meditation. There was pin-drop silence… After half an hour, the Arati would begin complete with chanting, rituals and bhajans honouring the Ganga river, which is experienced as an embodiment of Divinity. It was mesmerising… I feel that there is no replacement for real, applied, traditional Indian sadhana. It creates a unique devotional connection to the Divine, through illiciting that inner longing for God in every human heart : the bridge to God-realisation. During this stop on the Pilgrimage, I was asked to be the Healer for the Group, which I happily accepted 🙂 It was an incredibly powerful experience and I feel I gave some of my best sessions ever as a result.

I had the opportunity to bathe in the Ganga river for the first time, which I readily took up. We all walked down in a little group from Santosh Puri and prepared ourselves on the banks. The whole vibe was so right… Local Indians were playing in the water, the atmosphere was peaceful and the Divinity was palpable. I submerged myself clothed (as is the tradition), prayed, got my head right underwater and let go… When I surfaced, at first I didn’t think much had happened. But when I left the river to change, I stopped in my tracks recognising that something had completely left me. To this day, I don’t know what it was. Perhaps it was bad karma, perhaps resistance to the process of life, who knows..? I just know that something left and never came back.

While at Santosh Puri, we also celebrated the day of Holi – the festival of colours, joy, unity, forgiveness and new beginnings 🙂

Made In India pt. 3

Hello 🙂

“Always bear this in mind: Everything is in God’s hands, and you are His tool to be used by Him as He pleases. Try to grasp the significance of ‘all is His’, and you will immediately feel free from all burdens. What will be the result of your surrender to Him? None will seem alien, all will be your very own Self.” ~ Anandamayi Ma [with thanks to Kate White for this quote]

It’s probably a good idea to explain why I am titling this series of newsletters ‘Made in India’. While in India this past trip, I received a major boon (gift from Divinity) which has completely changed my life 🙂 🙂 🙂 More on that when the time is right. The other reason is, during the trip I made last June (2025) and during my recent three months in India, I found myself for the first time falling in love with India. Previously, ever since my journeys there began in 2009, I was always in a subtle (or at times overt – lol!) karmic resistance to India, only really visiting in order to be with Amma.

The day before I left Amritapuri in February this year, I was cleaning my room and took all the recycling and rubbish downstairs to sort through. Anyone who has been to the ashram for any amount of time will know the extent of this task – lol! I was overloaded with bags of recycling and rubbish, bottles and the like, plus in the middle of this I had to go to the ashram bank to withdraw money. As I was leaving the ATM booth, a random man who I had never seen before approached me closely. I didn’t really want this, as I was in the process of putting money into my wallet at that exact moment. I noticed the reflex resistance in my attitude. This did not deter the man from piping up [imagine an Aussie accent], “Oh mate, where did you get those bottles? I’ve been looking for some just like that.” I responded, saying he could have them if he wanted. He said, with some excitement, that he would take them – continuing, “What else have you got there?” I showed him everything I was carrying and he looked through it quickly, adding, “I’ll tell you what – just give me the whole lot.” He went on to explain, “Back home in Australia I’m a garbage man and an environmentalist.” So my entire chore, which I had very little time to do, was taken off my hands – just like that! I stood still…..feeling the Grace………… I could sense the lesson from Amma; the futility of our petty resistances to life, the realisation that something at first rather tetchy, can transform instantly into one of life’s miracles, renewing faith and trust in Divinity. But Amma wasn’t done yet 🙂 Still feeling exhausted from packing, cleaning and the heat, I sat down on a random chair somewhere in the ashram, in an area where I never usually go. At that exact moment, one of my dearest Amma sangha appeared out of nowhere, with food. Observing the state I was in, without words she simply put food into my mouth. This act honestly powered me to give my next private healing session, which was shortly to begin. Sitting as quietness there, I felt this exquisite influx of Grace……………..like temples building themselves in my mind, I experienced the restoration of my vision of Amritapuri as, quite literally, a magical kingdom. The centre of the universe.

There is a Foundational Vortex Healing class 25th – 29th May. You do not need prior experience to take this class and you do not need to want to be a professional healer. Most people take the class for their personal healing process or to support their awakening embodiment evolution. This training transformed my life significantly, including (but not limited to) healing my IBS, bad posture and relationship issues. In addition, it indirectly led me to meeting Amma three weeks later. I simply could not recommend the Foundational more highly!

🕉 Om Amriteswaryai Namah 🕉

Several failures might have occurred in your past. There is no meaning in wasting your time thinking about that. What has happened is over. What is needed is to mould your future. For that, live in the present. Do your actions in a better way, surrendering everything to a higher goal and seeking refuge in God. Do not grieve thinking of the past; that is foolishness. You are wasting both your energy and capacities by doing so. By worrying about the past your mind becomes weaker and weaker and you lose the strength to deal with the present. Remember that you are God’s child and that He will protect you. In that way you will gain the strength required to face the difficulties.

Made In India pt. 1

Hello 🙂

How are you? 🙂

Please note : I am currently in Delhi airport on my return to London from India. I will be back the night of 21st March 🙂

“Nurture the virtue of forgiveness. Generously forgive the mistakes of others—and learn to forget them as well.”

                 ~ Amma ~

The next Free Online Group Healing is Fri 27th March @ 1pm London time. If you feel drawn to do so, please let your friends / fam / etc. know by sharing this link with them. Please book your place if you can remain on Zoom for the duration (1hr) in a quiet space free from distractions. Thank you🙏

I would like to share a story which Amma recounted to us on the beach, following the White Flowers Meditation one day. There was once a Guru who had two disciples. One day, the disciples went to the shop outside the ashram. When they returned, one of them had a swollen face. The Guru asked, “What happened..?” The man explained that the other man had hit him. So the Guru asked that disciple, “Why did you hit him?” He replied, “Because he called me a monkey.” The Guru said, “My goodness, for 30 years I have been telling you that you are the Atman, the Supreme Self, but you didn’t believe me. Yet when he called you a monkey once, you had total faith in it.”

The ashram artist from the beautiful murals I sent in the previous newsletter is Radesh. Here he is 🙂

All the goodness will come to us

Hello 🙂

How are you? 🙂

When buying some ashram clothes here in Amritapuri, I entered the changing room and immediately saw this on the wall, which inspired me greatly :-

Please note : I am with Amma in India and plan to be until 21st March. I have opened my full schedule for sessions here, so my availability is as usual, except for the timezone now being IST.

I was staying in a hotel in Trivandrum after I arrived in India. I had planned to go to Amritapuri on New Year’s Eve. The morning of the big day came and I sat to do my daily Archana (the 1000 Names of the Divine Mother). Suddenly, a love song began to run through my mind… I was gazing at Amma’s photo at the same time and I could see Her eyes brightening at me from the photo, shining and piercing with Light. Not figuratively, but literally. After a while of being with Amma, one understands these kinds of little miracles as natural phenomena. I felt so in love with Her…I began to cry from devotion. When I arrived at the ashram that evening, Amma was singing in the big hall. The first thing I saw were the lyrics to the bhajan, which read, “With the ink of my tears I write you a thousand love songs.” I was struck by the synchronicity. A passenger in Mumbai airport had previously asked me why I was going to see Amma. I replied that I wanted to learn about compassion and also to volunteer for what I see as the greatest charity the world has ever known. Yet standing there in that moment on New Year’s Eve, I realised that it was really out of love. Wouldn’t I want to go to the one I love..? Further beauty even arrived later on, in the form of my favourite bhajan, which was sung as the climax of the session. What a welcome… 🙂

A couple of days into my visit, I bumped into my friend Tony Fernandez who is part of a deeply significant little group in London. He introduced me to Ramya, whom I had actually been waiting to meet for years. I would like to share with you a bit about her story. She first came to Amritapuri in 1987 to study Amma, because she was doing her degree in Social Anthropology at LSE University. When Ramya finally left the ashram, Amma told her to start a satsang in London and that She would come to her house. In 1988, Amma did indeed come to her house – not a centre, not a designated hall, but a normal house! Even more thrilling than that for me, was the realisation that her house was only 34 minutes walk away from my house, which I was growing up in as a child the same year. Amma’s radiance therefore couldn’t have failed to reach me, all the way back then. This left me speechless….the implications of it are infinite…………

Ramya and Tony Fernandez 🙂

I would like to share a few quotes from the daily programs here with Amma, which I have found particularly true and inspiring :-

“As a strong wind carries away a boat on the water, so even one of the senses upon which the mind focuses can carry away all of one’s wisdom” (from a bhajan)

During one of the beach meditations, Amma gave some advice to the children sitting with Her. She told them not to kill the ants – just blow them away. She explained, “Just like you, they also have a father and a mother and siblings. Wouldn’t your parents feel sad if someone hurt you? Like this, the ants’ parents will cry if you kill them. Just blow them away.”

Love,

xDaisy

Magic instead of Power

Merry Christmas🎄and a Happy New Year 🥳

Please note : I will be with Amma in India 28th Dec – 21st March. I plan to open my full schedule for sessions while there, so my availability is as usual.

The next Free Online Group Healing is 2nd January 2026 @ 1pm London time. Ric Weinman has discovered that an Assemblage Point or the whole Assemblage Point System can get damaged by various traumas. I can channel Magical Jewel to repair these if so, therefore please ask during your next session. It really makes a difference and only takes a few minutes 🙂

As I have mentioned before, my journey this time on Europe Tour with Amma is really too personal to share. But there is one story I would like to relay. As I was entering the hall in Switzerland one day, I bumped into a little girl and her father, both of whom are friends of mine. This particular child is deeply gifted. She was being ‘difficult’, so I offered to give her a shoulder ride so she didn’t have to walk. She agreed and promptly climbed up onto my shoulders as if I were a climbing frame – lol! As she sat there, our spines connected, from her tailbone to my neck. My mind instantly went completely Silent………..and I could feel the presence of Divine Mother. At first, I assumed it was Amma, yet I could feel that it wasn’t – this presence was emanating from the girl herself and rippling down into my entire being. The most striking sensation was that of being totally held, on every level. This girl is 6 years old – imagine! I also felt a profound sense of safety, which is unusual for me. Then my breathing naturally deepened and widened on its own and I relaxed. It felt as if I was going from Maya into Divinity. I didn’t know if I would be able to walk in such an ‘altered state’, yet somehow my feet followed through. This is the beauty and excitement of Touring with Amma. You never know what will happen next or where the Grace will come from – and in which form.

Something which dawned on me while listening to a friend is that it is possible that Amma chants quite different mantras into each person’s ear – not mainly two mantras. So please throw out any previous info from me about this and listen carefully while receiving your next darshan.

Ric has commented on a couple of things in recent classes which I wanted to share with you. The first is that, Magic is a good term to replace Power. Isn’t that beautiful..? How true. I love that… The other one is that we could think of the kidneys as being the force which holds things together in the body. This is why kidneys are so important for health and why we focus on them in Vortex Healing a lot (as is also the case in Chinese medicine).

Here are two interviews with my mother, Barbara Nokes, who is one of the most iconic figures in the history of Advertising. I’m including them because I’m proud of her and because I think the tale is such an interesting and entertaining one:-

There was a synchronicity here too. As I was listening to these, a friend from Portugal messaged me out-of-the-blue with an article from the BBC website. It had ‘randomly’ been written that day about my Mum’s most well-known television commercial :-

The Real Centre of Life

Hello 🙂

🕉 Om Amriteswaryai Namah 🕉

“Regardless of all we have accumulated or are striving to accumulate, for most people life still feels incomplete – like the letter ‘C’. This gap, or lack, will always be there. Only spiritual knowledge and realisation of the Self can fill this gap and unite the two ends which will make it like the letter ‘O’. The knowledge of ‘That’ alone will help us feel well grounded in the real centre of life.” ~ Amma

Please note : I will be with Amma in India 28th Dec – 21st March. I will miss you all very much. I am sorry for the short notice – I only knew myself a few days ago. I plan to open my full schedule while there, so private sessions and Groups will run as usual 🙂

The next Free Online Group Healing is tomorrow 12th December @ 1pm London time.If you feel drawn to do so, please let your friends / fam / etc. know by sharing this link with them. Please book your place if you can remain on Zoom for the duration (1hr) in a quiet space free from distractions. Thank you🙏

During Europe Tour, Amma kept saying in Her speeches that without the passport of compassion, we cannot gain the visa of liberation. This is so true… It also somehow reminded me of something Adyashanti once said, that Truth is not Truth without Love. He went on to explain that if we tell a truth to somebody without the heart of love in it, then it becomes not the truth at all. My belief is that for either of these, we need to be in touch with the Divine Feminine, which resides inside all beings. The effulgent inner waters of patience, love, compassion and empathy bring the most delicate wisdom to our interactions, situations and dilemmas.

I believe it was Brahmacharini Amrita Chaitanya who recounted this beautiful story, during a speech she gave on Europe Tour. There was a schoolteacher who came to Amma for darshan and spoke about an incident at her school, where she taught Maths to young refugee children. The children were learning about fractions and the teacher was conveying the difference between 1/2 and 1/4. She asked them, if they were offered chocolate, would they take 1/2 or 1/4 of it? The children replied that they would take 1/4. “Oh no”, thought the teacher, “They haven’t understood the lesson – they don’t know that 1/4 is less than 1/2.” So she asked them why they had chosen 1/4. As she was recounting this part to Amma, her eyes filled with tears. The children said they would take 1/4 so that other children could have some, who might not otherwise be able to have any. These refugee children had nothing, yet they thought of those less fortunate than themselves. If we all had such compassion in our hearts, what more would be needed to make this earth a heaven?

Love,

xDaisy
